Anna and Nik's Connecticut Indian wedding was a cultural celebration that blended their traditions for an unforgettable wedding day. The day began with Anna getting ready at the Marriott in downtown Hartford with hair and makeup by the talented artists of Simply Gorgeous by Erin. Studio 1923 was on hand from beginning to end to capture every detail and moment. Anna had henna covered hands by Orchid Threading that she had done at her Mehndi and also had a sari dresser to help complete her stunning Indian bridal look.
First look's, don't they just give you all the feels?! Anna and Nik saw each other for the first time at the Hartford City Hall where they also took portrait pictures with their bridal party before heading over to The Society Room of Hartford to kick off the festivities with their ceremony and a luncheon. The luncheon reception was decorated with colorful blooms and beautiful gold accents by Love Decor. Guests dined on traditional Indian cuisine catered by Curry Leaves and danced to the sounds of DJ Bobby. The fun had just begun. Guests were then treated to a night reception aboard a Lady Kate Cruises Yacht where the night ended with a gorgeous cake by Modern Pastry Shop and a vegan cake by Dee's One Smart Cookie complete with a wedding sparkler send off. I was so honored to have been able to plan a day filled with so much love. The end result of this multi-event day was something very special.
